Miguel Chacón began in the world of the carpentry when he created a society called “Jiménez y Chacón, S.A.”, which focused on the sale of wood-working machinery, tools, ironworks and paint, in 1972. After acquiring experience on the different markets, he decided to focus on the sale of new and used woodworking machinery creating COMERCIAL CHACÓN, S.A. in 1986.
Our history and growth of our facilities
Our first installations covered an area of 2.000 m², which were divided into three different sections:
- New Mahinery Exposition.
- Used Machinery Exposition
- Machinery repair shop
By putting a great effort during all these years and with a desire of doing our best, we could expand our installations up to 5.000 m2 in 1998.
Thanks to the support of our customers who put their confidence on us, we expended our installations up to 12.000 m2 in 2003. At that time, we counted on 980 machines in our installations.
In October of 2007, we inaugurated our new installations at Cordoba-Málaga road, in which we joined the Administrative Department and the Commercial Department. This fact meant that our installations expanded up to 15.000 m2..
